Denice Rojas
As the owner of Tiny Woodland, she is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel valued. She believes early childhood is one of the most important stages of development and is dedicated to helping children build confidence, kindness, creativity, and resilience.
She is married and the proud mother of three children and grandmother to three grandchildren whom she absolutely adores. Her love for family and children is reflected in the care and attention she brings to the program each day.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys gardening, camping, spending time on the water, and continually learning new things. She is currently working toward earning her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential to further expand her knowledge and skills in early childhood education. She also holds a college degree and values lifelong learning both personally and professionally.
Her goal is to help create a warm, welcoming community where children feel safe, families feel supported, and learning is filled with joy and discovery.

Stephanie Maxwell
Stephanie serves as the Director of Tiny Woodland and is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. She believes early childhood is one of the most important stages of development and is dedicated to helping children build confidence, kindness, creativity, and resilience.
With over two decades of experience working with children, Stephanie has a natural gift for connecting with them in meaningful and positive ways. Her patience, creativity, and caring personality help children feel safe, encouraged, and supported as they learn and grow both academically and emotionally.
Stephanie is currently working toward earning her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and continues to pursue additional education focused on child development and social-emotional learning.
Outside of Tiny Woodland, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, camping, being on the water, and participating in water sports. She also loves animals, especially her dogs, and values the importance of family and strong relationships. Stephanie helped raise her three stepchildren and treasures the experiences and lessons that journey brought into her life.
DirectorAmy Lallatin
Miss Amy is the Lead Preschool Teacher at Tiny Woodland and brings a strong passion for early childhood education and child development to the classroom each day. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and has experience working in daycare, preschool, and within the K–12 school system.
Amy stays current on best practices in education and child development by dedicating time each week to continued learning and professional growth. She is currently studying more about supporting children through challenging behaviors and helping create positive, successful learning experiences for every child.
As both a teacher and a mother of three, Amy understands the importance of creating a classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. She loves watching children grow in confidence, creativity, kindness, and independence.
Outside of the classroom, Amy enjoys dancing, reading, and collecting creative recipes and craft ideas. She especially loves fairytale retellings, cozy mysteries, and Webtoons. Her love for movement, art, and reading shines through in her teaching style and the engaging activities she brings into the classroom.
Owl's Teacher / Director Designee
He is the oldest sibling in his family, with four younger sisters who look up to him. Growing up in this role helped him develop patience, responsibility, leadership, and strong communication skills from an early age.
He has a natural ability to connect with children and enjoys creating positive, supportive relationships with those around him. His caring personality, teamwork skills, and dependable nature help him work well in environments that involve children and families.
He has a passion for sports, especially soccer and basketball, which have taught him discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. He also enjoys video editing and working with technology, where he can express creativity and attention to detail.
In addition, he is currently working toward earning his CDA (Child Development Associate) credential to further his knowledge and skills in early childhood education. He is motivated to continue learning and growing while making a positive impact in the lives of children.

Miss Olivia is a valued member of the Tiny Woodland team and is passionate about helping children feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they learn and grow. Her caring personality and positive energy help create a warm and welcoming environment for the children and families she works with each day.
As a mother herself, Olivia understands the importance of patience, kindness, and creating meaningful connections with children. She enjoys helping children build confidence, learn new skills, and feel successful in their everyday experiences.
Olivia is currently working toward earning her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential to continue expanding her knowledge and skills in early childhood education. She is excited to continue learning and growing while making a positive impact in the lives of children.

Miss Blanca is a valued member of the Tiny Woodland support staff and brings warmth, care, and dedication to the program each day. As both a mother and grandmother, she has a nurturing personality and a deep love for children that shines through in everything she does.
Blanca helps create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both children and staff. She is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed and takes pride in making sure the center feels comfortable, safe, and cared for.
In addition to supporting the classrooms, Blanca enjoys helping introduce children to the Spanish language and culture through everyday interactions and learning opportunities. Her patience, kindness, and caring nature help children feel loved, supported, and encouraged throughout their day at Tiny Woodland.
Her gentle spirit and strong work ethic make her an important part of the Tiny Woodland family.

Blanca Zapata
Emma Trujillo
Ms. Emma is the mother of two students at Tiny Woodland and has been a valued part-time teacher with the program for the past two years. Her caring personality, patience, and ability to connect with children help create a warm and supportive learning environment for the students she works with each day.
In addition to her work at Tiny Woodland, Emma has worked as a Registered Sleep Technologist for the past nine years, primarily in pediatric hospital settings. Through this experience, she has developed strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to work closely with children and families during important stages of care and development.
Emma is also currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Family Studies, further strengthening her knowledge of child development, family relationships, and effective communication. She is passionate about supporting children’s growth and helping create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children can learn and thrive.
Childcare Support Specialist / Director Designee
Miss Brecklyn is a valued member of the Tiny Woodland team and brings energy, kindness, and dedication to the children she works with each day. The children adore her caring and fun personality, and she truly loves building positive relationships with them and helping them learn and grow.
Brecklyn is a hardworking and motivated young woman who recently completed her studies at Weber State University before even graduating high school, with her high school graduation taking place next week. She plans to continue her education in nursing and is passionate about helping and caring for others both inside and outside the classroom.
In addition to working at Tiny Woodland, Brecklyn also works in the healthcare field, showing her strong work ethic, responsibility, and drive to succeed. She is a true go-getter who is always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
Outside of work and school, Brecklyn loves spending time with her family, traveling, and playing softball. Her positive attitude, caring heart, and dedication make her an important part of the Tiny Woodland family.
